“A Tiny Wood Dream House Just Steps From The Beach”

 

Welcome to SeaRenity Tiny House - Sanur

This 2-story wooden house with a footprint of just 4 x 6 meters is small but very functional. The ground floor is your living area! Small but with a fully equipped Kitchen, small table for eating and a nice sofa with Smart TV included. The bathroom with shower is also on the ground floor just next to the stairs. On the second floor you have the bedroom, with a very large wardrobe and a desk for your work or make up. We packed all you need in the small space as we could! You will feel like staying in doll’s house out of a fable.

This house is in our vegetable garden where you can learn more about fruit and vegetables from our Grand Ma. Not only that but you are a mere 3 minutes’ walk to the Beach. Our location is just 150 meters from the famous Mertasari Beach one of the local favourites. The Mertasari area is in the southern part of Sanur, away from the traffic and noise and is the new residential haven in Sanur. The beach at this southern end is also the favourite place for the Balinese to bathe at Sunrise and Sunset. Also, it is the best place for water sports like Diving, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Surfing and Stand-Up Paddle Surfing. The outside reef has nice waves for every level of surfing and it creates a natural calm lagoon where you can always have a swim and is ideal for kids.

 

Let me tell you the story behind our latest project the “Wooden Tiny House”. Due to the pandemic, we had a lot of free time on our hands and much of it was spent on the web browsing and dreaming about future holidays. Many times, we came along some beautiful photos of small holiday homes, some really looked fantastic like out of a fable book. That is when we thought why not trying something similar here in Bali.  So, we started to work on our new concept and together with our team of Architects, Structural Engineer, and Interior Designer we got serious about the project. We decide to use a plantation hard wood from South Sumatra call BamBang Lanang. This timber grows fast and is of strong class II quality, this species has long been used as a building material by the local community because the wood is strong, durable, and resistant to termite infestation.

We now have the first functional example of our dream Tiny Wood House, and we are ready to share it with you. The house is in a small parcel of land close to our home that due to the Covid pandemic we were just using as a vegetable garden to grow our own food. Grand Ma comes daily to give it a watering and to collect the vegetables for our family use, you too are more than welcome to learn from her and to pick some veggies for your own cooking. Depending on the time of the year you can get: Eggplant, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Bok Choi, Herbs, Papaya, Pineapple, Dragon Fruit, Bananas, Long Beans, Tomatoes, Chillis, Spinach and other types of Tropical Fruits.

The Airport Transfer is only 250.000Rp (approx. USD$14) for one car one way (4 people + luggage)

We really suggest taking up this offer because at the Airport it is very annoying with the taxi drivers and price at the end is about the same. Our friendly driver will wait for you outside the Arrival Hall with a sign with your name on it and take you directly to the Villa where he will help with the check in and explain all the features and a bit about Sanur. He will use the fast Tollway and if you need to buy some groceries on the way to the Villa, he will stop in a mini market in Sanur close by.

 

 

Price is USD$30 per night and High Season USD$33 per night.
